We went to my Pam's house in South Dakota for Easter. We decorated eggs, and walked the dogs. And that was enough. A thoroughly relaxing weekend!

Seeds
Becky and I stopped on the way home from work on Wednesday and took a short walk down the Luce Line Trail. Spring isn't here yet, but we can hear it coming.

Tree in fog week 10
We've been getting much warmer the past few days, and the snow is melting, adding moisture into the air, which becomes fog. Friday was foggy all day, and I stopped a few times on the way home to try to capture it.

March Tree
It's starting to feel like Spring; its 46 degrees out and things are thawing out, but leaves are still a few weeks out. I saw this tree when I was out scouting for subjects that qualify as fine art for the current DPC weekly challenge...that shot will probably become week 10!

Trying to get out and shoot in January in Minnesota is tough, so I'm using another shot from the same weekend on the north shore.

Duluth Lift Bridge
Week 3. We went up to the north shore (Duluth, Two Harbors, Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock, we didn't get quite get to Grand Marais) over the weekend and had a lot of fun. We hoped for lousy weather (wind, cold, ice) but instead got blue sky, sunshine and 35+ degrees. We made the best of it.
